The Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA) distributed kits and uniforms to selected players under a strategic alliance programme with leading racquet brand, HEAD. The partnership aims to support tennis players from Karnataka and tournaments hosted by KSLTA.

The players were selected by KSLTA based on merit and under the yearly scheme, the players in the U-14, U-16, U-18 and wheelchair category were given racquets, t-shirts, racquet strings, grips and caps.

HEAD, a market leader in tennis equipment and is endorsed by some of the biggest names in tennis, including Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic.

Neeraj Aggarwal, Director, Delux Sports, exclusive partners of HEAD in India, said: "We hope to augment KSLTA's effort by chipping in with our support. We believe that equipment also plays an important role in the performance of a player and we wanted to showcase our products to the end users and ultimately help the players acclimatize to international standards.”

Additionally, HEAD will conduct an annual tennis clinic where international players from HEAD will share their experiences and tips with junior players and support KSLTA events with tennis balls, and hold an annual Coach Affiliation/Coaches Education Programme.
