Sehaj Singh Pawar rallied brilliantly to send home the fancied sixth seed Vaibha Krishna and advance to the quarterfinals of the FSA AITA CS& U-18 Championship at the Fortune Sports Academy courts here on Tuesday.

On a day where the organisers barely managed to finish the first round matches owing to incessant overnight rains, Sehaj after losing the first set 2-6, bounced back to take the second set with a similar margin before signing off with a win in the super tie-breaker at 10-8. In the only other pre-quarterfinal match that was possible, fourth seed Sushanka Sridhar beat Sadu Revanth of Andhra Pradesh 6-2, 6-3.
