The young winners and runners-up of the KSLTA-AITA Under-12 Championship Series held on 4th to 8th Sep.2017, were felicitated by the KSLTA at the KSLTA Stadium here on Friday. In a welcome gesture, the players were presented with scholarships for kits by Mr. P.R. Ramaswamy, join secretary of the KSLTA. The champions Skanda Prasanna ( boys ) and Vaibhavi Saxena ( girls ) received Rs .25000 each while the runners-up Satdeep Sateesh Nair ( boys ) ad Soha Singh ( girls ) received Rs.15,000 each `` We are committed to encourage young talent and `` As a token of appreciation of their performances, we re presenting them with the scholarship which they could utilise to upgrade their kits’’ ,, said Mr. Ramaswamy. Mr. K.C. Nagaraj, council member of the KSLTA and also the director of the tournament, commended the players.
