Kevin Titus emerged as the star of the day when he first knocked out the fourth seed in the opening round of the ASTA-AITA CS3 U-18 championship and then continued his march with a facile 8-3 win over Sriniketh Kannan to make it to the quarterfinals at the FSA courts here on Tuesday. Top seed Jason Michael David and second seed Sushanka BS also made it to the last eight stage.

The organisers were forced to postpone the girls matches owing to inclement weather.
