Fancied players have it easy at AITA CS-3 tournament

All the fancied players in the Boys category found the going easy in the Sportle Topspin AITA CS3 U-14 tennis tournament played under the aegis of KSLTA here on Monday. Heavy showers curtailed play, disturbing the first-round matches in the Girls category.

 

Top seed Aaradhya Dwiwedi blanked SR Rithik Jayanth 8-0 while second seed Lethaeesh K overcame a fighting Thanish V 8-7 (7-2) to advance to the pre-quarterfinals. Joining the last 16 stage were third seed Prajval Heggere and fourth seed Abhishek Subramanian who beat their respective opponents Kishore Sriram and Daksh M with an identical scoreline of 8-2.
